Konj Villa
Konj House is a residential project designed by Barabar Group. The core design idea redefines corners and edges as active spaces within the experience of living—spaces that are not merely boundaries, but places for calm, reflection, and the formation of a meaningful relationship between people and their home.
In this project, spatial organization is conceived in a way that allows each corner to play an independent role in shaping the residents’ daily experience. Spaces are connected in a continuous yet gradual sequence, creating a calm and fluid movement throughout the house. This spatial continuity originates at the heart of the home and, through a stepped progression, guides residents toward higher levels and natural light.
The staircase, as the project’s defining element, functions beyond a mere vertical connection; it forms an integral part of the architectural concept. Emerging from the ground with a soft, curving motion, it establishes an upward flow that offers a gradual experience of light, perspective, and elevation.
Konj House is a narrative of creating a calm, human-centered, and introverted living environment—one in which stillness and movement, light and shadow, pause and flow coexist in a meaningful balance.
